Turning in revisions the second time

Yesterday, I turned my revisions to the latest Viking in -- please God let me have closed all the plot holes and not made any ones. Please let me have made my characters strong and compelling enough. This is a prayer from the heart.

Personally I think the book is a far better one now and I can understand why my editors saw what they did. It is always far better to have someone point out the problems...

Today I am going to attempt to get my latest newsletter out. I wanted to get it out last Friday but really the revisions took up a lot of my time.

The house is a complete and utter tip though. And there are unconfirmed rumours that Christmas is about 6 weeks away.

I am right there with you. I turned in my second round of revisions two weeks ago and am biting my nails, hoping I got it right. Lucy's doing the final read for me since Jo's out.

Don't hate me, Michelle, but I've mentioned your name on my blog as one I would like to see rewarded. Now you have to play. Visit my blog to collect the logo, post it to your site, then name up to seven other sites you'd like to honor. Notify them by email or comment as I have here. You can see what I've posted at http://mizging.blogspot.com

I hope the revisions work outfor you Michelle - fingers tightly crossed. I kiow exactly how you're feeling

And I heard those nasty rumours about Christmas too. I heard someone decided it was going to be December 25th and they've only just told me!

Ginger -- that is a lovely thought. Now I will have to go and think about some of my faves...

Michelle W -- I am sure Lucy will love them. But it is always scary when it is not YOUR editor.
Kate W -- I figured you would understand about the heart felt prayer. Soemtimes, it is all you can do.

Kate W, Donna and Natasha -- it is very much oh heck, and why did the days suddenly become shorter. 24 hours used to take much longer, I swear it did.
