Done and off to my editor

My revisions are done. The manuscript is stronger. But I really believe in this story, so if my editor sees any more problems, I will fix them.

I now have a week to relax and think up new ideas before seeing my editor and sr editor for lunch on the 16th.

Some moments are made to be savoured.

You do not want to know what my house looks like...

Hi Michelle. Congrats on the revisions - I'm just finishing off mine at the mo. Hard work but worth it. I remember reading a long ago blog of yours when you talked about revisions - and how you liked them! At the time I didn't - hated them with a passion in fact - but I've come to your way of thinking - revisions are CRUCIAL for a book - no matter how tempted us newbies are to get it out to a editor and think "they'll love my book and skip over the bad bits and offer me a contract"! So thanks for all the advice now and in the past. Can't wait for the new book(s) to come out. Regards - Caroline

Congrats on finishing the revisions, Michelle. Isn't it a wonderful feeling when they're finally gone and you know your book is much stronger for it.
