Brilliant post, Michelle! Bang on the money. I've been trying to listen for a long time, but missing quite a bit.
I'm hoping the hearing has improved lately. Especially thanks to you. It certainly feels sharper (a bit like the first time I got my glasses-suddenly I realised how much I'd been missing out on!)
