I should have known by the name on the front cover.
I should have known when my daughter kept coming down saying that the book made her cry.
But arrogantly I thought I could read a few pages...and then go to sleep.
Umm no, India Grey's latest had me turning the pages and reading. Tears flowed down my face. Thoughts of sleep vanished. I had to get to the end.
India is really growing into her talent. Spanish Aristocrat, Forced Bride is a lovely escapist read. Just do not read when you need sleep...

Unusual Historical
I am blogging today at Unusual Historical about the Thingvellir. It is for the Humans in Nature month.
Hooray for India Grey who won the RNA Romance Prize yesterday for her lovely book Mistress: Hired for the Billionaire's Pleasure. It made me cry when I read it. It is a bit hard to direct the putting in of a bookcase when you have tears streaming down your face and all you want to do is to get back to the book. Luckily for people in the US, the book is currently out there. Read it with tissues handy.
My youngest has stayed well. Obviously know that he does not have a temperature has done much for his ability to stay at school.
Have pointed out to the youngest that it has been so long since he last rode his bike that the hens have started using it as a windbreak for a nest. He remains unconvinced by this. He did go down and retrieve the eggs though.

India Grey's Contest for her upcoming release.
I have kept meaning to highlight this. India Grey sent me her latest --Mistress: Hired for the Billionaire's Pleasure. Actually she sent it for my daughter but I nicked and read it while the joiner was putting in the bookcase. It is a lovely, lovely read. It made me cry in several places, and I loved when Rachel was drinking champagne in the churchyard. And Orlando is well Orlando and a hero to die for. I love wounded heroes. Escapism at its best.

Mistress is her third book. Her second book The Italian's Captive Virgin is out in the US in September. India has a lovely wry voice and there were many heart tugging moments.
India is certainly a Modern/Presents star of the future.
