There is a move afoot to make the UK and US cover much more similar.<BR/><BR/>Jess-- you can find hardbacks in the larger libraries. I know Sunderland City Library system buys hardbacks as does Newcastle. They find it much more cost effective as a hardback last longer. The hardbacks appear in the libraries two months before the paperbacks are released on general circulation (one month before Reader Service readers). <BR/>The most popular hardbacks are the pink ones for the Moderns and Romance. The women who read them (many read the entire range) are affectionately known as the Pink Lady brigade.
